Her intent as a potter is to create pieces that bring joy to the eye and the hand. "When you hold my pottery I want you to feel the warmth, the life of the clay. I want each piece to speak to the primitive deep within you." Patrice is a member of the Wilkes Museum, Wilkes Art Gallery Northwest Artist League, Unique Artists of the Yadkin Valley and Yadkin Valley Craft Guild. She has demonstrated the pottery wheel at Wilkes Heritage Days and Daniel Boone Days at Whippoorwill Academy. Her pottery is available in the Wilkes Heritage Museum Gift Shop.
